How fulfilment can work after order placement

Marianne, this page brings together the operational pieces after a multi-shipment order is placed. It shows the post-order split model and also gives you access to the admin-side management screens we discussed: card management, delivery rules, and shipment preview.

Post-order fulfilment model

1. Split the multi-shipment order

Any order with more than one shipment can be split into multiple fulfilment-ready child orders — one per shipment/address.

2. Keep each child order complete

Each child order carries the right shipping address, products, card design, written message or QR-linked media reference.

3. Continue fulfilment with familiar tools

Swiss Post Labels and Order Printer can continue to be used per child order, just as your team would fulfil separate orders today.

4. Handle emails carefully

Automatic order emails can be suppressed at the parent-order stage and re-triggered after the split so the customer does not receive multiple confusing emails immediately.

Marianne, one important limitation remains: we can let your team view or filter shipments by shipment date, but we cannot make the Swiss Post app itself fulfil directly from a custom “shipment date queue” without a deeper Swiss Post API integration.
